About Akishna Glasper-Williams
My name is Akishna Glasper-Williams, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from The University of Central Florida. Upon graduation, I taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for the next 10 years. It was during this time I realized that the children I worked with had needs that I was unable to meet as their teacher. As a result of my desire to help children and their families, I returned to my Alma Matter to obtain my master’s degree in social work.
In my 12 years in the Social Work field, I have performed a variety of roles, which provided me with the opportunity to work in various settings with all ages. The roles included providing therapy to children and their families both in home and in school, as a Military Life and Family Counselor, Compliance Supervisor, School Social Worker, Individual and Couples Therapist, and a Clinical Supervisor.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time at my favorite place, the beach, with my twins.
